Playing for her first silent film in 2016, Meg Morley has quickly become one of the UK's pre-eminent silent film accompanists, performing at various international film festivals (including Il Cinema Ritrovato, Netherlands Silent Film Festival, London Film Festival) and plays regularly at the British Film Institute, Southbank, where she is a resident pianist. Her most recent silent film commissions included a collaborative live score with electronic trio Haiku Salut by Flatpack Festival, Birmingham, for People on Sunday and a piano score by Kino Lorber for DVD release of Ernst Lubitsh's THE DOLL. Mykyta Sierov was born in Kiev (Ukraine). He took his first music lessons at the age of six. After studying at the Kiev Music Academy, he moved to the Franz Liszt Weimar University of Music, where he completed the master's degree as an oboist. Mykyta Sierov is currently working as a freelance soloist and orchestral musician. With various chamber music groups he not only plays classical music, but also jazz and pop as well as his own compositions. As a soloist, he gives numerous concerts in Germany and abroad.
